Campaign to bring Renaissance back to the UK

Hi everyone...

Maybe UK fans should start a campaign to get the band back for at least one UK show. I know the Astoria (March 2001) wasn't particularly 'packed' and it did seem to end rather abruptly, but come on guys (and gal!)...we in the UK love you just as much as anywhere else...and yes, we need you back!!!!!!!

What do UK fans think?

Totally agree. Didn't realise that they had been over here as recently as 2001. A venue away from London may be better, especially for us up North! How about getting a journalist from Classic Rock presents Prog magazine over to US to interview the band during their tour.

Lobbying CRPP for Renaissance coverage seems like a fine idea, although I think the days of flying journalists across the pond for a face-to-face interview are long gone. But a telephone interview should do the trick.

Curious: Who do (all of) you perceive as the proper target of this campaign -- Annie and Michael? The band's management? UK tour promoters?
