The last time I saw Renaissance was in 2014, in April. It was in a venue called the 'Robin' in Bilston, in an area called the ' Black Country' a former industrial area, more or less surrounding Birmingham, where I live, which apparently played a major role in the Industrial Revolution. The venue was quite small, but was also had 'bed and breakfast' facilities, so I decided to stay the night after the concert. To cut a long story short, when I went for breakfast, Annie and the band were also there having their breakfast too! They had also stayed the night in the venue! I did 'play it cool' and not 'badger' Annie and the band, but as you can imagine it was quite a surreal experience for me! Just for interest Jim, were are you from, by the time difference I imagine somewhere in the USA, but I could be wrong, as I often am when I assume things.
Hi Jim. My first ever gig was Renaissance at Southampton Gaumont in 1978. Iain Matthews was the support. Could anyone tell me the exact date of that concert please? Would mean a lot to me if you or anyone knows.
!978 was a long time ago Darren. Hope you find out when it was. This attached picture was taken in the same period at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester. Scan_20170228%20%2818%29.png

Looks like I was wrong Jim! just looked at your profile, so much for my skills of deduction, and the concert was 2015! think I'm loosing the plot!
Just left a comment before I read this. Look forward to hearing from you.
